Update Old Rural Route Addresses

Update rural route addresses and increase deliverables using the new street names of the rural route customers. Older rural route addresses have been changed to standard, city-street names to help the 911 emergecy response system.

LACS^Link matches addresses against a list of rural route, highway route, and box number addresses that have been renumbered or renamed and updates the address accordingly.

This component of the scrubbing process is essential and dramatically reduces the amount of returned mail that is otherwise generated.

How Qualified Address Implements LACS^Link

Through our proprietary, highly advanced address matching engine, we are able to match rural-style against various, official USPS data sources which are then used to convert the old address format into the new, city-style format.
